LOGOS & BRANDING

This section features a few design projects I’ve completed since graduating from Appalachian State University. Most of these pieces showcase logo work and designs that align with existing brand identities.

If you're interested in seeing more of my branding experience, I recommend checking out my work with Brittany Wheatley for Eddy Myers Real Estate. Otherwise, enjoy exploring this small collection of post-grad projects!

SEABREEZE BIN CLEANING

For this project, I worked on creating business cards and signage to help strengthen Seabreeze Bin Cleaning’s brand presence and reach. They provided the logo and a few general ideas, and I translated those into polished, professional designs. I also assisted with the printing and production process to ensure everything came together smoothly and matched their vision.

DARK2DAWN

I was asked to help develop a logo for Dark2Dawn, a mental health support initiative focused on symbolizing the journey from darkness to light. The original concept began with the name “Dusk to Dawn,” which was later evolved into “Dark2Dawn” to better reflect the emotional transition at the heart of the project.

Below, you'll find several logo variations I created during the design process, along with early mock-ups presented as part of the initial concept pitch.

ORIGINAL PITCH: “Dusk to Dawn” emphasizes the full journey of surviving the night both physically and emotionally. The idea symbolizes how the quiet hours can feel the heaviest, but also how making it through brings the promise of light. It acknowledges struggle and celebrates survival. The dual colors (blue and orange) symbolizes this duality with blue representing the dusk and the orange representing dawn. Those who struggle with mental illness tend to feel the weight the most at night, but as dawn approaches, it is a reminder that with a new day comes new beginnings and new solutions.

DAWN

DUSK

The idea behind the T-Shirts is that dusk represents those who have fought through hard nights and dawn represents those who want to support by bringing light to the subject.

Dusk - For those currently struggling.

Dawn - For those who want to support

COVINGTON INVESTIGATIONS

For Covington Investigations, I collaborated with another designer to create a logo that was both distinctive and easily recognizable for the client. I developed the initial logo concept and passed it along to my colleague, who added color and took the lead on designing the accompanying business cards and signage. The final result was a cohesive brand identity that balanced clarity, professionalism, and visual impact.

MILITARY LOGOS

I had the opportunity to design custom logos for a U.S. Army Military Intelligence platoon and company specializing in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations. Each unit requested a design that reflected their Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) with accuracy and pride.

The logos incorporated key elements such as the Military Intelligence insignia, drone imagery, and aviation-inspired color palettes, including Army Aviation Blue and Oriental Blue. One unit even requested the inclusion of a llama — a clever nod to their unit abbreviation — to create a memorable and personal symbol.

The final designs were built for versatility and are now used across a variety of formats, including newsletters, reports, unit gear, stickers, challenge coins, and more. Each logo stands as a visual representation of their mission, camaraderie, and role within Military Intelligence.

*The L.L.A.M.A Platoon represents around 25 people, and the ROGUE Company comprises over 100 people.

MISC. DESIGNS

While many professors and professionals recommend showcasing only six to eight projects in a portfolio, I believe that creative work shouldn't be limited by a number. If you're proud of something, it deserves to be seen. That’s why I’ve included this section — a space for designs that I truly enjoyed creating, whether for the concept, the copywriting, or the final execution.

All of the pieces featured below are speculative works created for educational or personal growth. Any logos or trademarks used are the property of their respective owners, and I was not commissioned or endorsed to produce these designs. This section simply reflects my enthusiasm for design, branding, and storytelling, and the joy I find in the creative process.
